The Calendar Data Model describes a set of APIs, including errors, launch arguments, data types, and activity functions, for manipulating and exchanging calendar-oriented data from a database.
The Category Manager Data describes a set of APIs for controlling data inside the category data model.
The Launcher Data Model contains APIs, along with supporting errors, data types, etc., controlling the application launcher data model.
The Memo Data Model contains APIs and data types supporting the Memo data model, including memorandum management, organization, and interchange.
The Tasks Data Model contains APIs and data types supporting the Task data model (i.e. the "to-do list"), including task management, organization, and interchange.
The Contacts Data Model contains APIs and data types supporting the Contacts data model, including contact management, organization, and interchange. Contacts may also be organized into distribution list membership using the Distribution List Memberships API.
The Preference Panel Manager controls the creation and management of preference panels for individual applications. Initialization and termination, UI widget creation, and panel launch are controlled from this manager.
