1. Go to vmware.com and
download the VMware Player 2 for Windows.
2. Download the "appliance" preconfigured from our
download area (you must be logged into this site).
3. Unpack the file into a directory on your hard drive.
4. Run VMware Player and open the ALPSDK-2.4-Ubuntu-7.10 VM in that directory.
That's it! After the Ubuntu VM starts, you can go to the Applications-->Programming menu to see the tools available for development and use the documentation resources installed there and on this site to procede.
