Hi,
i installed the virtual phone and connected it via tcp (as given in the documentation) http://www.accessdevnet.com/index.php/ACCESS-Linux-Platform-Native-Development/ VirtualPhone_Installing.html

The problem is that when trying to launch the emulator (this as i understood should launch the virtual phone automatically or not? if not what sould i do to lauch the virtual phone) my network is setted off (the port is set off).
i remembered that during the virtual phone installation i had to set the virtual phone port (export ALP_COMPORT_VP="192.168.3.100" )

i replace the ip address (92.168.3.100) by ("10.24.238.242" the ip adress given by this command (ifconfig )).
did i miss something? did somebody faced the same problem?

I m working on the ubuntu 7.10 with wmvare installed on windows xp pro.
