I've used Palm OS Garnet simulator on a PC running windows XP and everything was great. However, on vista, when i try to load a storage snapshot i get the following error:-


'Dynamic heap base address mismatch'
'Can't use the specified storage snapshot file'

I've tried running the sim in windows XP compatiblity mode and as an administrator, also i've tried loading a snapshot saved by vista and nothing has worked. I've also tried all the different RAM sizes and dynamic heap sizes.

Any hints, secrets or solutions?

all I can think of is Are you using 64 bit Vista or not maybe even try emulating an older version of Windows...

Try asking at more well known forums like

Same problem with the "seven" 32...

Microsoft is still supporting the oft-maligned OS (and XP for that matter), but Vista users now need to be on at least Service Pack 1 to get assistance.Despite Microsoft's browser being the weak link in yet-another high-profile hacker attack, enabling IE's security settings reduces the risks considerably.
