Sorry if this was discussed before somewhere else. But I did a search and didn't seem to find much in the search results, but I could have missed it...

Anyway, I'm a new Palm OS 5/Garnet Developer (still waiting to request a CreatorID), but I am trying to see what if any, costs it costs to be an active developer for the Palm OS platform. Since it looks like the SDK and Developer Suite is free for download and such. Is there any hidden fees or costs I should be concerned about, before spending the time learning these tools?

Excellent question... it is a free platform to develop on. The tools are free and there are no hidden costs associated with development. You will only run into costs when you get to the distribution phase, but that's when you start making money!

You can either sell your apps on your own website or add them to a catalog company like PocketGear who will take a small cut.
