When I try to register my conduit with CondCfg.exe on Vista, CondCfg hangs up. It puts in the registry keys, however. If I put in these registry entries while HotSync.exe is already running, it syncs fine, runs my conduit application, and the application shows up under Applications in the HotSync Manager. The problem is that if I end the HotSync process (or reboot), HotSync won't run again with the custom conduit in the registry. If I remove the custom conduit from the registry HotSync again runs with no problem. None of this is a problem on XP. Any suggestions on what is stopping HotSync from starting with the custom conduit in the registry? Could this be a Vista security issue? Thanks for any help.
